Build Diary for
.Miglia Kit Photos

I went down to the Miglia Cars workshop and took some pictures of the first kit off the production line.

I have only known Mike for a few months since he was building up the Miglia Speedster kit, and I have been impressed with his attention to detail and quality of the components. So much so thatI ordered a kit and offered to put his website together: www.migliasportscars.co.uk.

Since I only live down the road from the workshop, I have been able to pop down to see progress and share my build experience with Mike so he can make the kit even better for home-builders like me! The Sammio spyder I built had many challenges that won't be an issue with the Miglia, for example the bonnet shut lines and bonding of the bulkhead. See my Sammio spyder build at: www.mysammiospyder.co.uk

The photos shown right are most of the components you get, apart from the perspex windscreen. I tried to take photo's that highlight the attention to detail that has been put into this kit because there are some nice touches, like body mounting points under each wheel arch so you can align the body correctly, and the dashboard being bonded in already. All things that should make the build quicker and more enjoyable as I can cencerntrate on other things - like the engine in this one as I didn't have to touch the engine on my Vitesse based Sammio Spyder.
