2013-06-01 - Brake Servo

Busy last month or so, but sadly not on the car! I have been doing a lot of odd jobs around the house and have been enjoying the the sunshine on my motorbike, so tha car project took a bit of a back seat.

One of the niggly things that had been bothering me was that the rod that operated the servo unit just touched on the gearbox, and more specifically the front part of the extension piece.

Luckily there was enough 'meat' on the aluminium extension so that I was able to make a nice chamfer on teh end and with a slight adjustment of the rod with my knee and some brute force, I created enough clearance for the servo to work and nothing touching or rubbing. Job done.

now on to sort out the floors!
